This Privacy Policy is intended to cover Monzum’s current services and future services. Some features described below may not be available at all times. Monzum may add, remove, update, or expand features as our website, technology, and services develop. When we introduce new features that materially change how we collect, use, or share personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy as required by applicable law.
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to users of Monzum’s services, including:
-
Drivers, job seekers, CDL applicants, and other individuals searching for job opportunities;
-
Website visitors, blog readers, and viewers of Drivers Lounge content featured on the Monzum website;
-
Carriers, advertisers, recruiters, vendors, and business contacts;

ā
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, carrier websites, third-party application systems, social media platforms, or external services that we do not control. Those third parties have their own privacy practices and policies.
Drivers Lounge and Monzum Media Content
Drivers Lounge content featured on the Monzum website is owned by Monzum Media. Monzum Consulting LLC d/b/a Monzum licenses, features, embeds, or otherwise displays that content on the Monzum website. This Privacy Policy covers personal information collected through Monzum’s website and related forms, analytics, advertising technologies, communications, and services. It does not replace any separate privacy terms or policies that may apply to Monzum Media platforms, social media channels, video platforms, or third-party services where that content is hosted or viewed.
2. Important Job Board and Recruiting Notice
Monzum helps drivers search for CDL job opportunities and connect with carriers, recruiters, recruiting partners, and application providers. Monzum is not the final hiring authority for most positions shown on our website. Hiring decisions remain with the applicable carrier, employer, recruiting partner, or third-party application provider.
We do not share driver information with carriers until you choose to apply, request contact, submit your information for a job opportunity, ask us to help with pre-qualification, or otherwise consent to the sharing. When you choose to apply or request help with a job opportunity, we may share the information needed to process your request with the applicable carrier, recruiter, recruiting partner, or application provider.
3. Personal Information We Collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with Monzum. We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary to provide, improve, secure, and market our services.
4. Sensitive Personal Information
Monzum does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a service you request, required by law, or provided through an authorized application or recruiting process. Sensitive personal information may include Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, government identifiers, financial account information, health or medical information, biometric information, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, or other data treated as sensitive under applicable law.
ā
For most website visitors, Monzum does not need this type of information. If a driver chooses to complete a carrier application, Tenstreet IntelliApp, background-related process, DOT-related process, or similar third-party application process, additional sensitive information may be collected by the applicable carrier, recruiting partner, or third-party application provider under their own privacy practices.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that are inconsistent with applicable privacy laws.
ā
5. Information Collected Automatically, Cookies, and Analytics
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand how users interact with our services, improve content, support security, and measure advertising or marketing performance.
ā
We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar services. These tools may collect information such as pages visited, referring websites, approximate location, browser type, device type, and interactions with the website. Analytics information is generally used in aggregated or deidentified form where practical.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the website may not function properly. Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
ā

-
To send administrative messages, service updates, transactional messages, and notices about changes to our policies or services;

ā
7. Future Matching, Pre-Qualification, Assessment, and Automated Tools
As Monzum’s technology develops, we may offer driver matching tools, pre-qualification tools, eligibility indicators, preference-based recommendations, assessments, automated filters, or similar features designed to help users find relevant job opportunities. These tools may use information such as your location or ZIP code, driving experience, license type, job preferences, application activity, and other information you choose to provide.
Monzum does not currently make final hiring decisions on behalf of carriers or employers. Hiring decisions remain with the applicable carrier, employer, recruiting partner, or third-party application provider. If we introduce automated tools that have a legal or similarly significant effect on users, we will provide any notices, choices, opt-out rights, or appeal rights required by applicable law.
We may create aggregated, anonymized, or deidentified data from personal information. We may use and share aggregated, anonymized, or deidentified information for analytics, service improvement, research, reporting, business planning, and marketing, provided the information does not reasonably identify you.
ā

Where required, we provide opt-out rights.
ā
9. Email, SMS/Text Messages, and Marketing Choices
If you provide your email address or phone number, we may contact you about job opportunities, applications, recruiting support, advertising inquiries, account/service updates, or other Monzum-related matters. ā
10. Retention of Personal Information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, respond to requests, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the security of our services, and support legitimate business purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of our relationship, legal requirements, and operational needs.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, deidentify, aggregate, or otherwise dispose of it in a reasonable manner, subject to our legal and business obligations.
ā
11. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no website, email, transmission, storage system, or online service is completely secure. You should use caution when deciding what information to send online or by email.

If you submit a privacy request and we deny it, you may have a right to appeal the decision. To appeal, reply to our decision email or contact info@monzum.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
ā
14. UK, EEA, and International Users
Monzum is based in the United States and primarily provides U.S.-based trucking job board, recruiting-related, advertising, and website services. Drivers Lounge media content featured on the Monzum website is owned by Monzum Media and licensed or otherwise authorized for display by Monzum. However, people outside the United States, including viewers or visitors in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, may access our website, content, or services.
ā
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar international data protection laws apply, Monzum acts as a data controller for personal information we collect directly through our website, forms, communications, marketing, analytics, and business services. Third-party carriers, recruiting partners, application providers, payment processors, social media platforms, and analytics providers may act as independent controllers or processors under their own privacy practices.
ā
Our lawful bases for processing personal information may include:
-
Consent: For certain marketing communications, cookies where required, optional submissions, or other activities where consent is required.
-
Contract or steps before a contract: To provide services you request, respond to inquiries, process advertising requests, or help you begin a job application process.
-
Legitimate interests: To operate, improve, secure, and market our services; respond to communications; prevent fraud; conduct analytics; and manage business relationships, balanced against your rights and interests.

ā
If you are in the UK, EEA, or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. UK users may contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if they have concerns about how their personal information is handled. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the concern.
ā
Because Monzum is based in the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Monzum has not appointed a UK or EU Data Protection Officer unless separately stated. Privacy questions may be sent to info@monzum.com.
ā
15. Children’s Privacy
Monzum’s services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Certain services, paid products, subscriptions, job application features, or community features may be limited to users who are 18 or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, depending on the service and applicable law.
ā
16. Third-Party Links, Social Media, and Embedded Content
Our website may include links to third-party websites, carrier pages, job application systems, social media platforms, embedded videos, analytics tools, advertising networks, or other online services that we do not control. When you interact with those third parties, their privacy policies and terms govern their collection and use of your information.
ā
Social media widgets, share buttons, video embeds, or other third-party tools may collect information about your interaction with our website even if you do not actively submit information to us. Please review the privacy settings and policies of those providers.
ā
17. Do Not Track and Universal Opt-Out Signals
Some browsers or devices may transmit “Do Not Track,” Global Privacy Control, or other universal opt-out signals. ā
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, legal requirements, or privacy practices. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice as required by law.
